The Printing Industries Association of Australia, in collaboration with Pinnacle Workplace Consultants Pty Ltd and Employers Mutual, has implemented an industry specific Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Management Project. The aim of the Project is to drive the prevention and effective management of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD's) arising from workplace manual handling tasks performed in the printing industry. This will be achieved by integrating the fundamental elements of pre-employment, injury prevention and effective and timely return to work.

The development of sustainable, easy to use tools has been an integral element of this Project.
