Printing Industries to host Workchoices Seminars - 20/1/2006
Printing Industries will host WorkChoices seminars across Australia to inform members on the changes to the legislation and how it may impact on their business.
Printing Industries National Director, Greg Parkes said the seminars will highlight the major workplace changes scheduled to be enacted in March.
"We have developed these seminars to keep members informed about the changes and answer any questions or concerns about what businesses should be doing to make the best use of the opportunities provided by WorkChoices," he said.
The seminars are open to all business owners and senior management in the industry. Printing Industries members receive admission free as part of their membership. Non members will be charged $100 per person.
A series of seminars will be conducted nationally in the coming weeks.
Mr Parkes said the association was taking the lead as the only employer association to launch such a widespread educational campaign for its industry.
The WorkChoices seminars launch on 16 February at Printing Industries Office National and NSW Regional Office in Auburn and wind up on 23 February in Canberra.
