High-Tech Open night tour at ICGT - 25/8/2006

The LIA and ICGT invite you and your colleagues to an evening at the International Centre of Graphic Technology facilities at Brunswick.

You will be able to tour the facilities on Wednesday 13 September from 7pm and gain an insight into the new programs being offered and see some of the most advanced digital printing and finishing technology available.

The main focus will be on fully automated technologies recently installed into the Finishing and Pressrooms.

The Digital printing areas, Synapse and Colour Management areas will also be open and everyone is welcome to come and see first hand this really exciting technology development. The new technology in the Finishing area is all CIP IV enabled and has connectivity to all areas.

You will see the technology in a training environment and be able to learn about developing the skills of your people. Equipment will include:

Heidelberg's CompuCut and CompuFold
Polar Guillotine Model 115 X (Programmable with Compucut Software) Stahl Folder Buckle Folder TH56.4/4 (SC 100 Software, Compufold Workflow and PDM software).

Horizon i2i Finishing Workflow
The complete workflow with CIP IV and JDF connectivity will also be on show. This fully automated system includes: i2i AFC - 544 AKT Automated Folder i2i Stichliner 550 (Accumulator Folder, Saddle Sticher, Three Knife Trimmer and Stacker) i2i BQ - 270 Perfect Binder i2i APC - 61 II Automatic Guillotine System Software and Hardware.
