Over 180 printers, graphic designers, clients and suppliers to the industry celebrated the 2011 Page Awards at the Hotel Realm Canberra on Friday 18 November.

With the objective of bringing the industry together, the 2011 Page Awards were one of the most successful to date with record entries in most categories.

The Awards were rebranded the PAGE AWARDS in 2008. The name stands for Print and Graphic Excellence and aims to capture the imagination both of traditional print and new media professionals in a celebration of collaboration.

The Page awards are not just craft awards but take account of the partnership between client, agency and supplier, and the efforts that are required to deliver truly successful projects are all part of the judge’s considerations.

While the traditional award categories are still offered, the PAGE AWARDS establish a range of awards to reward innovation, environmental responsibility, great partnerships and the special achievements of the industry's young achievers.

The entertainment for the evening was speed painter Brad Blaze who excited and mesmorised the audience with is entertaining style and flair, and auctioning off the three paintings raising over $7000 for a numbers of charities.
