For their 2nd year as the PAGE Awards the crowd was not disappointed with the cream of the ACT industry on show.

The awards aim to showcase both traditional print and new media. While also celebrating the collaborative effort of the client, agency, printer and supplier efforts that are required to deliver successful projects. 

 Chair of the PAGE Awards committee Kieran May said: "The awards went off with a bang".

"With the technology available in the Canberra printing industry and high quality of the graph design community there's not much difference in capabilities of companies.

"It comes down to a combination of factors with an eye-catching design that's been printed well," he said.

ACT Chief Minister, Jon Stanhope, also made an appearance on the night. "He indicated that there would be continued support for the sector," he said.

"The awards have a long future ahead of them."
